haha meanwhile my bookmark system is more complicated than ever! i use browser bookmarks (and bookmark toolbar (with folders!)) for things i use every day or nearly, i use delicious for "interesting things i may want to refer to later" (meticulously tagged, private and public), and i use "read later" for things i want to not-permanently bookmark. every now and then i clean out the read later, removing things that i'm just not going to read/watch. sometimes after reading something i'll put it in the delicious for later callback.

i find that having this three-tiered system allows me to not think about bookmarking systems or privacy- my criteria for what goes where is pretty clear and i don't have much overlap. also delicious allows me to add explanatory text or a quote, which is often useful.

this isn't going out on a limb, this is just climbing a tree. going out on a limb is when you aren't sure if the branch will support your weight but the advantages (getting to another place) are enough to displace the potential danger. the difference is being sure vs not being sure.

Do you have a system for showering that maximizes efficiency and speed? I find that sudsing the whole body and then rinsing is the quickest way to shower, but I am still trying to figure out whether there is any way to improve upon this system, and also what the best system for toweling off (esp. in winter) is. I think a speedy system would revolutionize my life. Any suggestions?

Is this superstition based on the fact that East Side Mario's was once located there and guaranteed a miserable eating experience because the waitstaff was required to shout "TAXI!" whenever anyone wanted Parmesan cheese on pasta or black pepper on salad, (i.e., ALL THE TIME), and that any future restaurant in that location will thus be haunted by the loud and grating echoes of Bad Service Past, or on the belief that East Side Mario's was itself haunted because there is no other explanation for such an absurd and exceedingly annoying system of serving condiments to one's customers?
